Perfection? Yah, I'd say so. Atley has the build of a wrestler but isn't one. He is very well toned and has a nice muscular build. He could wrestle or play football if he wanted but he's more into the physical sports like rugby and lacross as well as field hockey. He is a bit of a brute when it comes to physical contact sports and does anything to win. He doesn't use his mass in a wrong way, though and keeps it in check when not being physically active. Even when he is playing a sport, he keeps a level head and remembers just how big he is.
He's not the kind of person to use his bulk to squash someone half his size. He likes to know that he is a little intimidating but only in the athletic world. Outside of that, he is, as described, a gentle giant. There's really no reason for someone to be afraid of him, no matter how intimidating he looks, he's about one hundred percent as nice as he looks. He enjoys running a lot too. There's something special to him about the wind on his face knowing that he's running away from the day only for a little bit. It's an escape from reality for him and he enjoys it a lot. Plus it keep him in shape!
Atley is not a fashionista. Believe me. He may be a little on the metrosexual side but he doesn't come across as gay at all [LMFAO]. He is into his fashion and knows what to wear and what to do to look good. He doesn't run around giving fashion tips and telling what to wear and what not to wear, he just dresses himself according to hos he feels. He rarely wears anything other than tennis shoes and a tshirt and jeans. He's the casual type of person but dresses up when he feels that it's nescesary but keeps it casual any other time. He's the simple type.
As long as something looks good, then that's all that really matters to him. If he looks like a giant banana or a bad remake of Barney then there's no doubt he grimaces and finds something else. I mean who wants to look like the big gay dinosaur? Not really anyone. Because then not only do little kids run up to you scream singing the song I LOVE YOU LOVE ME but a lot of people would probably think that you're mentally insane. And while he acts that way, Atley is one hundred percent sane. With a capital s.
So Atley knows that he's all that a piece of.... CAKE. Not ass. You sickos. Anyways. He knows that he's a relatively decent looking person and that he has a lot going for him. He tried to get modeling jobs here and there and sometimes he's greeted with open arms. Others, not so much. He doesn't let that get him down though. He only thinks of it as they're looking for something that he doesn't have and if someone else does have it and they like it, then good for them. No point in changing yourself for other people.
If you want to make people happy, then good. His opinion is that you should never change what you've made yourself into to do it. He's tall and has a chisled face and body that could make any well tainted girl swoon which makes him more than a little happy. People tend to like his hair a lot. Maybe because it's so wispy and just cool but his hair is where a lot of pride for him comes from. He likes how it fits him specifically and makes his face look framed and manly elegant in it's own little way. He is one to notice the small things and pick at things until they're just right. Perfectionist? Maybe. If there isn't a better word for it.

There's more to a person that what meets the eyes. Some people are like puzzles, hard to figure out. Other people are like cities; each road takes you somewhere new and you learn something from what's one each one. Atley is much like the city comparison. There are different avenues and drives in his life that people can either like and travel through over and over again or that people can hate and never want to go past again. He is human and has his bad neighborhoods and tries to clean them up a bit, sometimes with no success. It's not just a comparison in his life, it is his life. Sometimes he can find the high road and other times he's left in the slums. It's a direction only his heart can choose and lead him in, wheather he likes it or not. It's his life, his road to travel, his path to pave.
frequency[drive]» IMAGINATION;
To the extent of purple skies and blue grass? Not always but sometimes. Atley is like the imagination of a thousand people packed into one. He often has ideas and things that set him apart from other people and make him genuinley special. He has that touch to him that allows him to think up crazy insane things yet apply logic to them. A lot of people swear that he has the ability to write any book he wants whether it's for children to use their own imaginations and see strangely painted pictures from a random mind or whether it's to write out a story of many devious and soft twists and turns. He has the ability to put anything down on paper and make it seem right, even if it shouldn't. He gets carried away sometimes and lets things become too unrealistic. Usually, though, that's when they become extra interesting and fun to meddle in and explore. Imagination is key to him, no matter what it is that he's doing. He loves having that precise ability to make a world all his own and leave the one he's in for even a split second to find a place to call his own and truly that all belongs to him.
lavish[avenue]» CONCEITED;
It's something everyone has inside of them but they try to hold ina nd keep back so that people don't get too much of the wrong opinion: Being thingyy. Atley will admit that he knows he is a well rounded and very good looking individual. He never gets too rude about it at any time and knows when it's time to stop and keep himself in check. He's actually really good at doing that. He does have the sense to know that he's got great qualities about himself but he never let's it weigh down his heavy brain. Like the fact that he's intelligent. He could tell you that quadratic formula is that x equals the opposite of b plus or minus the square root of b squared plus four ac divided by two. And given any number, he coudl make it work too. A lot of times, he gets too far into being intelectual to really be a guy at the age of seventeen but he doesn't care that much about losing himself. He knows when enough is enough and when to make it right to where he belongs. Guess that's the thing with being smart, you know your breaking and bending points.
concious[street]» TIMETOGIVEUP
The concious is a part of the human mind that tells you when exactly it's time to stop and give in. He has this thing about keeping his mind and body in check and making sure he doesn't push too far with anything he does. That's actually one of the best qualities about him is that there's a meter inside of his head that rings and goes into warning mode when it's time to chill out and back off of a particular matter or subject. He's thankful for it because it is like his own little stop sign or red light. He gives into it occasionally and just withdraws from everything and everyone that he's involved with in order to make sure that he can saty in line and not get too far ahead of where he should be at the moment and where not to go. It's a daring part of his character that it's rather a great thing about him and how he acts and behaves. He's not some kind of heathen ever but gets dangerously close to being at that spot sometimes. If it weren't for that little bell, he probably would be out of hand and spinning out of control.
angst[parkway]» LOSEYOURSELF
So everyone gets more than a little carried away. Especially when it comes to getting mad and being angry. It's quite often that you can get lost in finding anger from places you never knew existed. Atley has the bad habit of getting angry and finding the dark placed inside of him and not being able to reign over them. He gets to a point where he's a little more than blinded by what goes on in front of him to see anything behind it. The one person who has such a great outlook on life is just as velnerable to anger as anyone else. He hates that part of him but can't really control it when it comes down to it. He gets angry with himself more than anyone else and takes it out on himslef even when things aren't his fault. He knows what it's like to suffer at the hands of punishment from consequence and that's why he would probably take the blame for something, if he and the person who had made the mistake were close enough. He doesn't like to see those he's close to get in trouble.
fantasy[road]» DREAMER;
Some people like it to have their heads in the clouds. Some people love the sense of feeling like they're in a dream, no matter how short it is. They often have their heads stuck in the clouds for that short amount of time. Atley, on the other hand, lives with his head stuck in the sky, breathing the fresh oxygen, occasionally getting hit in the eye with a plane or two. Hahaha, just kidding. His head isn't that big. Here's the fact of the matter: the kid's a dreamer. He loves to lay around, day dreaming about what his future holds for him. He has thia habit of liking the feeling that everything he knows is planned out and set for him that way he doesn't have to worry about it when it comes his way. He often thinks about the big changes in his life as a way of sort of preparing for them and making sure that he's going to be ready for them when they come his way. He knows that he could die, as a statistic, at any moment and wants to make sure his life is everything he can make it out to be.

History:
Junior Prom nineteen eighty eight! Partying, having fun. Back then there was no Prom Promise. Coop and Ava [hahahaha. lol@that for guiding light fans] had knows each other since first and third grade and had ended up together all throughout highschool with their fair share of fights and everything else but they had still made it to Ava's junior year, Coop being a senior in highschool. Well, no prom promise and plenty of drinking is what led up to the conception of mister Atley. It didn't take a lot for you to figure that out, now did it? And even if it did, wow. Did you have a few braincells die right before you applied yourself to trying to figure that out? It's not that hard. But for the imapired out there, maybe it is. I dont know and I dont really care at the moment.
Atley Gideon was born in late Feburary with his brother Thomas who was three minutes younger, to two teenage and happy parents and lived happily ever after. Not. No one could ever have that sort of life, even if you had all the money in the world and felt as though you owned it. Two teenagers trying to raise a set of twins was difficult, no doubt about it. Money was always tight and it was hard to live their own lives while up bringing two more. Coop found a decent job and was bringing in all the money he could but it never seemed to be quite enough. It always got worse and worse and the need for something else would come up and they lost any money that they had. Especially when little Atley got sick which was quite often considering when he was born, Ava had been sick with Toxemia and he had been born with a strep infection, leaving his immune system weak for the rest of his life.
When Atley was two, he had gotten mysteriously sick. First it had started out as coughing and a stomach ache and his mother had tried to get hom to feel better by doing so many different things, trying anything anyone told her. When she finally had to take him to the hospital, they found that even at two, his kidneys were weak as well as his lungs. His lungs had never fully healed to their full potential after the strep infection when he was a newborn. He spent endless weeks in the hospital, either his mother or his father at his bedside wishing that he would get better. One day, when the doctors were running blood tests, they discovered something even worse than his screams when they took the blood in the first place. Lukemia. The small little toddler was harboring a deadly disease yet still sat in his bed every day, playing with his blocks and plastic army men.
Thankfully, the doctors had caught it early enough that with many painful treatments for him, they had put the cancer into remission. It was still a miracle that his already prone and weak body had kept going after eveyrthing he had already been through. Maybe it was by the soft touch and grace of god that this little boy was stronger than some of the adults around him. No one ever was really able to fully explain why things happened the way they did and how he was able to recover so well but he still praises whoever it is he believes in for keeping him alive and allowing him to live out the life he was destined to explore and play out. It was written in the books that he was supposed to move on passed that and make it into the treacherous life that he was bound to change in one way or another, big or small. He was ready to make a difference.
When he was two, the same time he was fighting his battle, his mother gave birth to another little boy, Spencer. Atley had a little brother. Maybe he was too happy about the fact that he had a little baby to play with that he completely forgot all about his being sick and not feeling good. Some part of him as he got old wondered if his parents conceived to prepare for losing him. He didn't like thinking that of them but maybe it was true. Maybe they couldnt have handled losing one son so they had to have another as a backup. It was a little selfish for him to think of it like that but his brain never filtered it to him that it was a wrong thing to continue to think.
When he was seven, his parents then adopted a nine year old girl named Meggie whose parents had been lost in a house fire. He was nervous about getting a sister but she was unusually nice. Of course, that changed with time and she got used to haveing to deal with two little brothers and became a true part of the family. He got so used to living with two siblings and being the middle child that it was never like he had been the eldest at all to begin with. He didn't care that much about it, though because it was a nice thing to live with. As he grew older, he found comfort in his older sister and felt like he could go and tell her anything and know that it was safe with her. Even though siblings really can be brutal with their younger ones, they usually have that ability of understanding which Atley found in Meggie and liked.
It's always nice to know that someone's got an ear for even the worst things.
